This Rock'n Roll Band came together 1973. After a talent show they got a Records-Contract.  In Spring 1974 came out the first Hit wroten by themself  "Hey Rock'n Roll".   The Titel got in the GB Charts  place  Nr.2 and in Germany Nr.13 .  From the beginnings the Band  knew with the trousersoutfit and the music style of 50's and 60's to get the right attention.With promotioned  popularity the band relied no more only  on composition by them, but also they made a cross-section of Rock'n Toll and Doo-Wop style of 50's and 60's.The fifth titel "Three steps to heaven" (song by Eddie Cochran) climbed to Nr.2 in the Charts again 1975. In the same year they brought the titel "Heartbeat"(song by Buddy Holly ) also in the charts. 1976 they had the biggest success with "" Under the Moon of love" (song by Curtis Lee & The Halos ) With this titel they got the Top of the GB Charts and Nr. 4 in germany.   And further:  1977 "When" , " You got what it takes" und "Dancin' Party" 1978 " I wonder why", "A little bit of soap" und " Pretty little Angel Eyes"  1979 subsided the interest for the music by Showaddywaddy. It followed a few of little successes but they never came to the Top 10 . The changing of Members was big. Malcom Allured left the band 1984. After they had judicial trouble with him about the Name Showaddywaddy. After also other members left the band.
