Alan Williams Vocal , Guitar Regular are there GB band who bring back the Doo-Woop-Sound of the 50's. The Rubettes were apart from Showaddywaddy one of the most successful bands of the 70's. They were founded by the songwriter Wayne Bickerton and Tony Waddington who wrote mainly songs for "Pete best Four " before. With some studio musicians they recorded the composition "Sugar baby Love" After an appearance in the popular BBC Show Top of the Pops the land up with the single "sugar baby love" in the british Charts and were also top rider in Germany. Several Hits by the Rubettes followed. 1974 was the first change. Pete Arnesen leaved the band and wasn't replaced. In the meantime are there two formations by the rubettes:
