The Band was formed 1969. The first Single which was recorded under Apple-Label  and was a Reggeaversion of  John Lennon song "give Peace a chance"A member of Apple -Lable gave the Band the name "Hot Chocolate"1970 they signed a contract with Mickey Most by RAK Records. Errol Brown and Tony Wilson offered him three songs and he liked it."Bet yer life I do" took  Herman' s  Hermits. "Think about your children " took Mary Hopkin and " Love is life "took Hot Chocolate. In the same year "love is life" climbed to place 6 in the britain hit parade.The year after the members still changed often.The 10 Top 10 Hit were : *  "I believe in Love" 1973*  "Brother Louie "1973*  "Emma "1974*  "A child's Prayer" and  "You sexy thing "1975*  "so you win again" and " put your love in me" 1980*  "Girl Grazy " and " It started with a kiss" 1982 *  "what kinda boy your lookin' for " 1983The last New edition was 1984. 1987 the Band seperated.
