Abba were Nr.1 about ten years along...For a lot of people they were the follower of the Beatles. 1969  Björn met Agnetha who was a singer since her childhood. In the same year  Benny met Anna-frid who was a Jazz singer. Björn and Agnethe were married 1971 -1978 and Benny and Anna-frid 1978- 1981. 1972 came out the first single of them with "people need love".  1973 they sang at the Eurovision the song "Ring ring" but didn't won. One year later they tried it again at the Eurovision and won with "Waterloo". 1982  Abba seperated  . Agnetha and Frida had any Solo hits. Björn and Benny worked on a musical called "Chess". 1994 came out the new Album with the title "Thank you for the music" and 1996 got Abba for the Album "Gold-greatest Hits" double Platin. The most successful double Duo of the time sold about 360 million records until now .Although Abba so simply seperated 1982 and frustrate their fans , the Legend ABBA is  still living.
